Future Impact of A.I. on Job Market

After watching The Thinking Game (Greg Kohs, 2024), it was shocking to witness the rapid growth and technological development of Google DeepMind, the A.I. Research Lab which builds AI systems to aid in further benefiting the world.


With my focus on advertising, PR, and social media campaigns, the envisionment of where I see AlphaFold and other advancements in AI going in the next 5-10 years would be through generation much more widespread content with visuals being more refined, adjustments in tones, and much more dynamic messaging. Campaigns will be created not only faster, but much more adaptive and impactful than ever before.


Brands will adapt to the development of AI within the next decade or less and will develop more strategic literacy. I do believe creativity will still be used, however most creative advertising and media campaigns will be heavily AI-assisted.


One actionable insight I will apply will be using AI as an efficient tool, using it early in the creative process through brainstorming ideas, but making sure final decisions are guided by my own judgment and awareness in the end result.
