Hey there, folks - I'm Dave. I am currently a third-year Junior at Grand Valley State University studying Advertising and Public Relations. This is my personal brand blog.

My Passions and Strengths

Passions:

I’m passionate about media production, design, graphic arts, audio production, sound engineering, music, as well as spending time with people closest to me in my life – with friends, family, supporting those who are in need.  Passionate about writing, journaling, meditating.

Strengths:

• Hard Working with a willingness to learn new skills.

• Honest and Diligent with Dedicated Work Ethics.

• Effective Listening and Communication Skills; Seeking to get along well with others as best I can. Always hearing people out and offering suggestions.

Personal Experiences

Experiences that have helped define me as a person: 

• Community: Time spent with family and friends, which have inspired me to focus on connection and support.

• Concerts and Events: which have fueled my passion for live audio production and event media.

• College Experience: where I have developed skills and discovered professional goals.

  I am currently finishing my undergraduate in Advertising and Public Relations (BS) at Grand Valley State University with a minor in Film and Video Production and a Certificate in Digital Media.

  • I have also attended Community College in my hometown of Muskegon, MI - completing my General Associates in Communications (ASA)

  • I also attended Christian Seminary very briefly at Grace Christian University studying Biblical Theology and Worship Arts - primarily focusing on Classical Music Studies (Fun Fact: I originally was a music major)!

Future Aspirations

I am hoping to potentially one day work as a consultant/specialist for an advertising agency or other company/organization someday.
